ECOEM will participate in the regional Focus Group on the recycling of photovoltaic panels, which will be held on Friday, September 26 at the headquarters of the Puglia Region in Bari.
The Department of Environment, Landscape and Urban Quality has accepted the invitation from CETMA to organize this focus group, considering it relevant in the context of implementing regional strategies aimed at promoting the transition of the regional production system towards a circular economy. The event is indeed part of the activities of the Working Group for the Circular Economy in Puglia, in implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in November 2022 between Unioncamere Puglia, the Register of Environmental Managers, and the Puglia Region.
The event is also part of the PNRR HUB TECHNOLOGICAL MPC -M7C1I8.1 Project, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU managed by ENEA, in which CETMA has been commissioned to conduct the OVER study (Virtual Workshop for Ecodesign and Recycling), dedicated to identifying the best technologies for ecodesign and recycling of photovoltaic panels.
The objective of the Focus Group is to identify opportunities for the use of secondary raw materials and the main technical, economic, regulatory, and market challenges.
